The Mining Sector Doesn’t Have a Discovery Problem. It Has a Visibility Problem.

We’re Outliers. We’re a strategic communications and technology partner, and we built this company specifically for the mining sector. Not because we stumbled into it. Because we saw the gap and nobody was filling it properly.

Our founders come from Mastercard, Lloyds Bank, London Stock Exchange, Cambridge, Biogen. We’ve worked with global enterprises and early-stage companies across three continents. We know what institutional-grade communications look like because we’ve built them at scale. But we also know what it’s like to be the small company trying to be heard in a crowded market because we are one.

We grew up with the internet. We understand how modern investors actually discover, research, and commit to a company, because we are those investors. We trade. We analyse. We run a community of over 10,000 retail investors on TradingView. We live in the same digital ecosystem that your future shareholders live in.

And that’s why we see something that a lot of the mining sector still hasn’t fully grasped.

The Gap

There are companies listed right now with 3-million-ounce resources in Tier 1 jurisdictions, clean metallurgy, credible management — trading at an £8 million market cap. Meanwhile, a company with half the resource and a worse jurisdiction raised last month. Oversubscribed. No warrants.

The difference isn’t in the ground. It’s in the story.

We’ve spent the last 18 months in conversations with mining CEOs across the CSE, TSXV, ASX, and AIM. Copper, gold, lithium, silver, graphene, nickel. Different metals, different jurisdictions same pattern. The geology is there. The economics work. The team is credible. But the capital markets narrative doesn’t exist. No content strategy beyond press releases. No digital presence a fund manager would take seriously. No reason for an investor scrolling LinkedIn at 7am to stop and think: I need to know more about this company.

This isn’t a criticism. We get it. The mining industry was built on handshakes, conferences, and face-to-face relationships. For decades, that worked. You flew to PDAC, shook hands, passed out a one-pager, and raised capital. The assets spoke for themselves because the capital pool was concentrated and the people allocating it all knew each other.

But the world moved. Capital is global now. Retail investors are a serious force. Fund managers are doing due diligence on their phones at midnight. LinkedIn is where deals start. Your website is your IR department at 3am when a fund manager in London is looking at your company for the first time.

The relationships and the handshakes still matter. We’d never say otherwise. But they’re not enough on their own anymore. And the companies that are raising well right now the ones getting oversubscribed placements and attracting institutional attention, they’re the ones who understood that early.

What We Actually Do

We’re not an IR firm that sends email blasts. We’re not a design agency that makes things look pretty without understanding what they need to say. We sit at the intersection of capital markets thinking, brand strategy, content production, and technology and we bring all of it to the table.

Brand systems. Not just a logo. A complete visual and verbal identity that signals credibility, ambition, and professionalism at every touchpoint. When an investor sees your deck, your website, your social content, your one-pager  they should immediately feel like they’re looking at a company that operates at the level of its ambitions.

Digital investor hubs. Your website isn’t a brochure. We build it as a conversion tool. Mobile-first, fast, clear  with video, interactive project maps, and materials that get an investor from curious to convinced in under three minutes.

Content and production. We go on-site with cinema-grade equipment. We capture the story — the assets, the team, the jurisdiction, the vision  and turn it into video, photography, and written content that works across every platform. One press release per quarter is not a content strategy. Consistent, multi-platform storytelling is.

Distribution. Content without distribution is invisible. We bring channels, networks, and platforms.

Why Us

Because we’re not just service providers. We’re participants.

We trade. We publish macro analysis that tens of thousands of people read. We understand Elliott Wave theory, commodity cycles, and central bank policy not because we Googled it for a pitch deck, but because it’s what we do every day. When we write your investor narrative, we’re writing it as people who actually understand what makes an investor commit capital.

We’re also young enough to understand how the next generation of capital allocators discovers companies. We build for the platforms they’re on, in the formats they consume, at the speed they expect. But we’re experienced enough to know that none of it matters if the strategy isn’t right. We think in long-term positioning, not quick fixes. Cycles, not quarters.

That combination deep capital markets understanding, modern digital execution, and a genuine connection to the investor community is what makes Outliers different. We’re not translating your world into ours. We already live in both.

The Window Is Open

Gold above $5,000. Copper in structural deficit. Silver on the critical minerals list. Frankfurt actively courting mining listings. PDAC weeks away. European governments scrambling for secure supply chains.

Capital is looking for places to go. The companies that have their story together brand, content, digital presence, narrative are the ones it’ll find. This isn’t a prediction. It’s a pattern we’ve watched play out across dozens of companies.

We’re already working with companies ahead of Frankfurt listings, pre-IPO raises, and PDAC. The pipeline is building because the sector is starting to recognise what we’ve been saying from day one: the way you communicate is as important as what you communicate.

If you’re a mining company with a great asset and you know the market hasn’t caught up yet we should talk. Not because we want to tell you what’s wrong. Because we already know what’s possible.

We Are Outliers. We help mining companies close the gap between what they’re worth and what the market knows.
